As school wraps up and summer starts in earnest, we hope everyone in our community has witnessed moments of impact from Facing History this past year. We work to ensure that teachers, students, donors, newcomers, and even our staff are empowered to be upstanders and feel a renewed commitment to civic responsibilities. It’s all hands on deck to create a better world.
With the end of the school year also comes the end of our fiscal year. As we close out our books, Facing History proudly looks back on all the ways we supported educators as they ushered their students through another eventful academic season. We delivered new teaching resources like We the People and The Ethics of Generative AI in the Classroom, we offered professional learning such as Teaching the History of Disability and Building Inclusive Learning Communities, and we celebrated our teachers.
